About Us
The Sandu Foundation is a not for profit, independent of influence, organisation created with the sole purpose of bringing together, government agencies, industry stakeholders and charities to create one car wash industry, safe and fair for all. Working with its sister company, the Car Wash Advisory Service, it aspires to provide positive influence within an industry which has become negative and corrupt. We are constantly working to identify and disrupt unregulated wash sites, where modern day slavery , environmental damage and tax evasion are evident. Possessing specialists from both the mechanical and manual sectors, we aim, with the use of the WashMark Accreditation Programme, to provide a platform to create a world class industry and support wash sites that pledge to become regulated. We believe the UK wash industry should be world class and in which the consumer can have absolute confidence.
